No screens. No notifications. No blue light after dusk. No. 01 is a single object that owns the entire night — dusk to waking — with light you can feel and sound you almost can’t.
The instrument in detail
A dome, not a bulb.
A hand-pressed glass diffuser softens the source into a field. From 1900K amber to 0.8 lux moonlight, it never clicks or steps — it breathes. The sound field lives underneath: filtered brown noise, distant air, room tone you forgot you needed.

We make No. 01 in small runs outside Copenhagen with a metal workshop that usually makes marine hardware. Tolerances matter when something sits next to your head for eight hours.

Unlacquered brass. It darkens where you touch it. We leave it that way — a record of use.
Light you can’t see the source of
Two diffusers and a recessed LED bar. No point source, no glare on a pillow.
Felt, not rubber
Base is 5mm wool felt. It damps vibration and won’t mark a nightstand. Or a tatami, if that’s where you sleep.
