Weight, with purpose.
A bead-blasted aluminium enclosure. Substantial enough to stay still when you turn the dial. Cool to the hand, warm to the eye.

01A quieter intention
We have instruments for almost everything. Except letting go.
Rest is not another thing to optimise. It is a change of state. No. 01 gives that change a physical form, gently reshaping the room as the day recedes. Nothing to wear. Nothing to track. Nothing more to do.
Less input. More room.THE HALCYON PRINCIPLE
02A nightly composition
From evening.
Into quiet.
One turn of the dial begins a gradual passage. Four movements, shaped around your chosen bedtime. Explore a night with No. 01.
21:30 — 22:00
Leave the day outside.
Warm, indirect light settles across the room. A low, textured sound softens its edges. An unhurried invitation to put things down.
An example composition. Bedtime, wake time and sound level are set on the instrument. Your phone stays elsewhere.
03Material intelligence
A quiet object.
Nothing incidental.
The weight of the body. The resistance of the dial. The way light meets a wall. Details that ask for no attention, but reward it.
Fig. 02 — Surface studyMachined. Bead-blasted. Anodised.
Light without a source.
A recessed optical chamber diffuses amber light upward. No exposed LEDs. No sharp point of brightness in a darkened room.
Made to be kept.
A replaceable light engine, a serviceable speaker and a body joined with screws, not glue. Longevity is part of the specification.
