Arrival
Warm light settles to the edge of the room.
Halcyon Nocturne is an instrument for the last room of the day: a considered composition of low light, near-field sound, and unhurried darkness.
Meet Nocturne →Nocturne attends to the atmosphere around you rather than asking you to attend to another screen. It learns the room’s acoustics and its available darkness, then makes small, material adjustments over eight quiet hours.
There are no notifications, streaks, or bright little congratulations. Just a perfectly behaved bedside presence.
A broad, indirect field that never points at the eye.
Four tuned transducers, designed for close, low-volume listening.
One satisfying gesture for brightness, volume, and off.
Solid brass beneath an anodised aluminium skin.
One slow composition, performed differently by every room.
Warm light settles to the edge of the room.
Low tonal air masks the day’s hard edges.
Light recedes below perception. The room holds.
A barely present horizon begins to return.
Enough light to find your way, not lose your dream.
Each Nocturne is assembled in our north London atelier. Its enclosure is milled from a single billet of recycled aluminium, bead-blasted by hand, then given a graphite ceramic finish that is warm to touch and almost impossible to photograph.
We make forty-eight instruments each season. We would rather know the name of every person who lives with one.
Includes white-glove delivery, placement, and a five-year service promise.
