Every one of our clocks is assembled by a single watchmaker from start to strike — yours will take eleven working days, and we will write to you twice before it ships: once when the movement is cased, and once when it leaves Uppsala.

The making

Your movement is cut from a single billet of Swedish brass, aged six weeks before machining. The walnut is air-dried Färentuna stock, from a tree felled in 1998. We will send photographs of the movement mid-assembly, if you would like them — reply to this email and ask.

Your maker

Elias Vane, fourth generation. Twenty-two years at the bench. He signs the plate of every clock he finishes; yours will carry his mark and the serial number on the inner caseback.
