Eleanor,
No. 0347 came down from our regulating wall last night, four seconds fast after a full week — well inside the ten we allow before a clock may leave us. This morning we packed the pendulum and weights on their own, crated the case, and loaded everything into our own van.
Kit and Jago are driving it to Bath themselves. On Thursday they will carry it in, hang it, set it in beat and show you how to wind it — a minute’s work, once a week, for as long as you own it.
Eight weeks is a long time to look at an empty wall. Thank you for waiting for it.
