Order TM-20417 · Dispatched 14 March
Your clock is on its way.
Dear Eleanor,
At 11:40 this morning, after twenty-one days running on the test bench, No. 0418 was stopped for the journey. Its pendulum was lifted out and packed on its own, the movement secured, and the walnut case wrapped in wool felt. It is travelling with our own delivery team and will not change hands again until it reaches you.
They arrive on Thursday 20 March, between 10:00 and 12:00, and will unpack it in the room you choose, level it, set it in beat and wind it for the first time. You need only decide where it should stand.

New to a fusee movement? Read the winding and care guide. It takes four minutes, and the clock repays it for eight days at a time.

No. 0418 is the four hundred and eighteenth clock to leave Walcot Yard. Thank you for waiting the six weeks it took to make it properly. We hope it keeps time in your family for a great deal longer than that.
With thanks from the bench,
Tomas Marr
